Happy Birthday SAM!!!

Sam's wife did a fantastic job in making this birthday very special. It was to be a surprise, however, he started to get a little suspicious when the tent went up in the backyard. Many people attended from long distances. This is a family that is loving, close, and very real. Sam, I wish many more happy birthday's.

A few shots of the guests enjoying the party

These people know how to have a great time. Proof is in the following pictures. Even the photographer is having a good time...me. Thanks for allowing me to shoot this very important event.

The Amazing Food

Beautifully and colorfully done. The cobbler was the best part for me. Sam's Sister Sylvia made them (two cobbler's) from scratch.

The Birthday wind down...

The end of the party can often take on a new twist especially when a neighbor has had enough. One type of music stopped but incredibility another started. A relative took hold of the mike and sang beautifully without the assistance of any music. He tried to recruit others to sing with him but he didn't have any takers. What a wonderful way to end the evening.

One of the most BEAUTIFUL places on earth...The HUNTINGTON LIBRARY

This shoot took place at the Huntington Library and Gardens. It is the perfect backdrop. There is so much variety for a natural soft setting. The kids will love the new area of the Children's Garden.

Too Sweet!

These boys are holding hands...why and when does it stop? It is so cute and so natural at this age. Wait until these kids are seniors in high school and I pop this picture up. It is hard to visualize these kids at the age of 18 but I have to tell you I do have a senior graduating this year and it does go by faster than you can imagine. That's why someday these pictures will be priceless.
